Mr. Neuman became associated with the firm in 1985, and as of January 1, 1993, became a member of the firm. He counsels the firm's employee benefit fund and union clients on federal and state law covering those entities. He has developed considerable experience in all aspects of employee benefit fund administration and fiduciary duties. Mr. Neuman is a recognized expert in welfare claim subrogation and qualified domestic order processing. He was a contributing author for the treatise, Employee Benefits Law, published by the Bureau of National Affairs. In addition, Mr. Neuman frequently writes and speaks on various employee benefit issues.
Mr. Neuman is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the AFL-CIO Lawyers' Coordinating Committee. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and his law degree from Loyola University of Chicago.
